My inspiration for Sydney Design School began 25 years ago when I studied a degree in interior and furniture design in the UK. My education was intensive, practical and gave me a portfolio that made me extremely marketable. Sydney Design School encompasses similar philosophies and standards of excellence.

My dream was to create a School that focused exclusively on training interior decorators and designers who are able to compete in a highly competitive marketplace. The dream became reality in 2008 and Sydney Design School was launched. It has far exceeded my expectations. Our courses are in high demand and our students are producing outstanding work.

Our unique and creative approach to design education incorporates strong conceptualisation as well as the practical and business skills relevant to working in any interior design or decoration business.

The industry has welcomed the high standard of knowledge and skills reflected in our students portfolios creating high demand for our graduates.

In 2011 we launced our 'Succeed Program' for young adults. We are also excited to introduce SDS Connect - a free career placement service for our graduates.
